This is possibly the most beautiful chicken I've seen! I love her!

I agree......... wondered if she is making some Jubilee Favorelles or Speckled Faverolles? Lovely girl! Looks like her beard and chest would have been white. Now what would a blue or lavender with white or creme chests would look like LOL!

, If Cloverleaf is developing Jubilee Faverolles, I would totally want to be on the buyer list once she perfects them! What an interesting breeding project!

Thanks everyone, I really don't know what I'm doing with her yet. Now that she's laying I need to put her with a black male & see what happens .... :)

Ok, I am having a problem that I believe is unique to fav chicks, so I'll ask for advice here. My chicks are VERY fluffy..... in fact, maybe too fluffy. Their cheek fluff is getting into their eyes something aweful. I'm a bleeding heart, so I can't stand to see their poor little eyes crusted from irritation. For all of you Faverolles verterans, do you have any advice about this kind of problem?

So far I've tried trimming their fluff a bit, but it's about to give me a heart attack every time they move their face while I'm trying veeeeeeery carefully to use scissors there.

Any sage wisdom would be REALLY appreciated (even if it's to tell me to cool it and let them be :p).
