Cloverleaf, here are pics of Romeo and Juliette.

Juliette shed her tail feathers, but new ones are growing in now.

The two of them dust bathing in their favorite spot.


They are almost always together. The other girls chase him some since he hasn't figured out he's the man yet, even though he is more than twice their size. Can't wait til that happens!

Boy will they be suprised!
My two EE's have been around a cockerel before and they kind of follow him a bit. I am sure they will be willing.

I love watching them run across the yard! All those feathers flying are great!

Oh and I kept two of the 5 pullets that hatched. Three had funky toes, so they went to a friend who just wants them for layers.
The two I kept have good toes, and I kept the only boy that hatched. We will se how he grows out.

I live in Brewster, close to the Punkhorn conservation area, with beautiful walking trails and bayside beaches- feels rural but is minutes away from anything. I love where I live... could have better neighbors, wish our lot was 10 times bigger and the town is kinda strict, but I do still love where I live.

We just got back from DC for our summer vacation this year but that is as far NE as I have been. We lived in Virgina for a while and I enjoyed the history and the sceenery but didn't like the traffic.

Also, I was wondering who had white Favs LF? I hatched out a gorgeous white F1 from my Dorking outcross project and kinda want to get her a good boyfriend when I finish with her for the project next year. Anyone be having eggs to ship in Fall?
