Ooooh, my Mom got to be on location when they were filming that. My uncle works for the movies, and Mom brought home all sorts of souvenirs. I have tons of pics of that movie "behind the scenes". Mom saw a lady sitting down with an English bulldog, went over, sat down and started petting the dog, talking to it, the lady asked her if she liked him, his name was Humphrey. Turns out, it was Madeline Stowe and her dog!

Speckled Hen-I got to roam around the set of the Last of the Mohicans...it was filmed not far from here on Lake James.

True Grit is my all time favorite John Wayne movie. And that is probably my favorite western followed by The Good The Bad and the Ugly.

I have too many favorites but far as horror goes and close to the top of my: Pumpkinhead or Aliens.​

Yep, I love these mountians! Although I live across the line in Ga, same mountians, basically. The Blue Ridge are so lovely, aren't they? My Hawkeye was named after his character.

I see alot of posts for Lonesome Dove! I've been watching them lately. I saw Comanche Moon which got my interest sparked and I watched Lonesome Dove and then Return to Lonesome Dove. Part way through Streets of Laredo and planning on finding Dead Man's Walk.
