Favorite Bible verses?

Yeah, it's kind of fun to know how other people relate to the verses they like though. It kind of shows their own personalitys, I think.

No seriously I feel it is OK, what the heck we are friends we all spend more time than we should on BYC and like the relationships we have......

It is my opinion we have all showed we can be adults here and not bash each others beliefs... I wished we could have more of these kinds of threads... (Just simply be respectful of others beliefs)

Me I am a Pagan that crosses paths with many religions of the world...
As far as the Bible goes.....In general I like most of the "commandments"

The beauty and "curse" of the bible is that it is subject to interpretation... It is all about how one interpenetrates it......

I for one feel the book is corrupt through translators in days gone by , and the best scriptures were left out as they were too liberating and rebellious for the dark ages Europeans that did the interpreting...

SO I may enjoy the possible meanings of many of the verses in a good book...However I choose to walk my own path, without the influence of other mortal beings (Other than myself....

)
(NOTE: This is just my opinion!!!!!!! If you can not accept that my opinion MAY vary from yours then "we" members of BYC have not shown the maturity required to express veiws on religon..... and all thread should be banned....

I like the 23rd psalm. I think it is meant literally; to relax by large bodies of water and touch the earth (and let the wild plants help you heal). I know it restores my soul...
