Favorite breed of duck?

Since I can't stop stalking the duck thread what is everyone's favorite breed of duck? What duck do ya'll think is the friendliest? (I'm not sure if there is a thread like this but if it is please let me know!)

Favorite breed: I have only had the Cayuga and Mallard but I would have to say Mallard

Friendliest Duck: My Cayuga terry comes up and eats out of my hand.

I have 5 Mallards and 1 Rouen. Mallards are a nice size, Rouens are BIG.

I love my pekins in every way.. My other ducks are young and crazy, so the jury is out on them.

My favorite ducks are my Welsh Harlequin. Friendly, calm, and gorgeous. I have 50+- ducks, so they are not very human conditioned. 50 ducks, 1 mind. I feel like the intrinsic nature evolves a bit more in flocks this large. I have Runners, Rouen, White and Golden layers, Blue Swedish, Khaki Campbells, Mallard and Welsh Harlequin. As I said, the Welshies seem to be the most approachable and calmest. Good luck. As was stated, all ducks can be friendly, context and human interaction being the determinate factors.

Welsh Harlequins, buffs, muscovies and pekins all seem to be very people friendly. I have wh and I used to have a buff.

The absolute friendliest ducks you will get are the ones you brood yourself. Raised by a duck mom they will be more flock oriented than people oriented.

my favorites have got to be :
Runners - funny looking, very funny personalities, my friendliest ducks
Muscovies - big, goofy, puppy dog personalities.
Welsh Harlequins - never owned them but want to - gorgeous

Friendliest ducks : Any breed you get as eggs or 1-3 day olds and hand raise and interact with on a daily basis. The more positive constant people interaction they have the more friendly they will be.

Breeds in general that tend to be friendlier than others that i've seen : Muscovies - definately, pekins, Welsh Harlequins, and buffs.

My favorite and most friendly is my Snowy Mallards. So far all mine have been hens. I think one of my ducklings might be a male.
