Favorite Hatchery???????

ive gotten hundreds from ideal, and have lost 2 chicks,,, and their just a little ways from me,, and the only 1 i've ordered from.

Well the reason I ask is we ordered 50 chicks from ideal and some of their toes are REALLY screwed up...we are kinda upset....and we want to order more chicks next year..and do not know weather to give Ideal another try or to try a different place...

I really liked dealing with Estes Hatchery. Family owned business with great service. When you call you are dealing with a family member. One of the owners even called me to make sure I was happy with the service. I've bought Black Australorps and Welsummers from them. All arrived healthy, never lost a chick and now that they are laying I'm really happy, plus my Welsummers are laying large to extra large very dark terra cotta speckled eggs.

Mt Healthy Hatchery. Got them from TSC and they are doing pretty well.

I have ordered from a lot of them but the one i like best is Moyers in PA.

Cackle Hatchery is byfar the best hatchery. 100% sexing, and great quality birds. The birds look like they come from show stock. I was so amazed.

Meyer or Ideal, have ordered from both and good customer service, and got nice healthy chicks every time. I would let Ideal know about the quality of chick, and would be willing to bet they will make things right.
