    Pineapple is by far #1 for me. It is an heirloom and I start my own as well.

    I really like Opalka. Good for sauce or eating fresh. Freezes well too.

    I have never heard of those Christie are they a classic flavor or on the sweet side???

    They are on the sweeter side. Beautiful yellow tomato streaked with red. Large fruits, great for eating right out of the garden. I use them in my salsa too.

    I tend to lean toward a red classic flavored Tomato it reminds me of my Fathers tomatoes. We would slice them and put them on white bread with Mayo and a dash of salt.

    I am another that likes Opalka. I grow my own seeds, and get them off the beaten path. Tatiana's is my favorite source. http://tatianastomatobase.com/seed-catalog/html/

    Other favorites are Costoluto Fiorentino, Rosso Sicilian, Gezhante for starters.

    I start my seeds about first week of march. I start setting plants like tomatoes and peppers in the garden about mid may.
