Favourite And Rare Breeds Of Hens

From my backyard my favorite rare breeds are the Cream Brabanter, they lay a very nice large white egg. Not sure how rare they are anymore but really like my Dominiques and the more I am around my newest birds (LF Salmon Faverolles) they are a joy too. Currently I can only find a few pics. Will have to take pics today of the Salmon Faverolles.

I love your brabanters! I'm getting some gold ones this week from Ideal, and I really hope they make the trip ok. I got a small order (7 pullets and 1 cockerel) and opted for insurance over extra roosters.

I love their little mohawks.
