Favus - my Serama Hen has it.

It took me a long time to finally figure out exactly what she has, and it is Favus (I THINK COULD BE WRONG OF COURSE) Poor girl started off lost all her under side feathers, and had a thick coat of flaky, thick and some yellowish skin. Her feathers were under trying to grow through and couldn't. Really bad around legs, thighs. Then under wings, neck and around her face now. Kind of peels off in big chunks. I do not pick it off unless it's falling off.
So I have tried oils, baths, sulfhur bath, coconut oil, and now using the athletes foot cream. I have no idea if this will work. Has anyone ever heard of giving them the over the counter oral pill that women would get for yeast infections? If so how much of the pill would you give her. I think at this point anything would help. I have had her isolated for quite a while. Probably since July when I first noticed her. She was kind of weak and the roos were taking advantage of her. I picked her up and noticed her balding peeling going on under neath. I thought she might have just been molting or something and separated her. But this got worse. The dry thick skin is now lifting between her real skin and up into her feathers so it just can't get off. How do I get that off... should I even consider cutting her feathers to let the dead skin come off and be able to treat her better?
If anyone one can help in a real way to treat this and get her back to normal would be great. I will try to post pictures of her. I have read many older posts, and none have come to any completion with real treatments, and or any further word of how their chicken ended up.
The pictures here were taken about a month ago... she is worse and has lost more feathers. She still eats and drinks. Very rare does she chatter at all now. Thanks for your help.
Also to be safe I recently gave her a dewormer, and will repeat this in the 14 days. Just in case its some kind of work problem. I am at my wits end trying to cure her.

I am not an expert on favus (a fungal disease of the skin in poultry,) but could you post a close-up of her head and face? Favus from what I have read usually starts on the face or comb and wattles, and then can spread to feathered parts of the body. It causes a white chaulky appearance to the skin. Are you sure that it is favus? Can you get some skin scrapings examined by your vet? Here is some reading about favus and a picture:

I will try to get better pictures tonight. We do not have a vet that will treat chickens in my area at all. She has such a tiny comb it would have been hard to see if it indeed did start there. Her comb and wattles don't really look like that at all.

Are you sure she isn’t just broody? Broody hens will pluck their breast feathers so that their skin will make contact with the eggs they are incubating.

I have used the Lotrimin spray with good effect. The spray gets in where you can't get the cream to go

She doesnt really seem that bothered by it. She still is preening, and not overly. She eats, poops good, and likes to cuddle up on my neck. I just want to get her better so she can get back to the Serama coop with her friends. I am really hoping the athletes foot cream will work. I am also doing antibiotic ear drops now, as she sometimes seemed a little off balance too. Other than the terrible skin she seems okay.

So read on line to work at removing the dead skin, in this case to do that I would have to cut her feathers off. What are anyones thoughts on that and if so where do you cut them, above the quill will they grow back?
