Feamle Quail feathers turning black

One of my females feathers have started to turn black including her face, the front part of her body has got an orange tint to it like a male would but she is in fact a female any ideas? (Cournix quail

The 3 pictures of the darker quail is the quail I'm concerned about and the normal looking female is a reference to a female that came from the same clutch as her.

She never used to look like this she used to be just like all the other females but all of a sudden she's changed feather colour completely

Apparently quail colors can change a bit over time, my avatar pic bird at the moment has white on the face at a year old but it was straight red when he was younger, just natural variation, enjoy the variety, nothing to worry about!

Thank you, it worried me because it changed so fast and it's been 2 years since I've had her
