just watch to make sure they all come out regularly to eat and drink. quail chicks aren’t the brightest bulbs and can get pretty creative with ways to kill themselves. but looks like a good set-up!

I think the concern is with ostrich feather dusters. Because the feather fibers are so long. The quality that makes them excellent for grabbing dust. They can apparently quite easily get tangled in them. But if it’s regular feathers then I wouldn’t worry. I looked into that idea for my chicks but ultimately decided against it.
