Sure, you can mix in the oyster shell, they will avoid eating it if they choose.

She seemed to go crazy over the 50/50 starter feed mix. I like to see her happy, she’s been out of it lately.
Thanks again Leyla!I am glad she is enjoying it!
Thank you! Also, feed changes can cause a bit of indigestion, don't be surprised if she has a bit of loose stool for a few days till her system adjusts.
Poor old BH! Molting can be very ugly sometimes..Pictures: (I forgot to say her exact age, she is approximately 4-5 years old):

@Cindy in PA how are the pellets in comparison to the size of feather fixer/nutrena all flock? I have been buying the latter because I like the smaller pellets and was afraid the Poulin Grain would be too big but the poulin grain would be cheaper and easier for me to get. Poulin grain has an all flock crublette that I tried, I loved the size but it’s only 15% protein.Just opened my Poulin Grain Turkey/Gamebird finisher & I like the looks of it! It is a real small pellet & the smell was much better than any other conventional grain I have ever used. Usually Purina & Nutrena have a real strong beer smell, LOL, even when they are fresh & this is all the years I have used them! I figure it is the binder they use, as organic never smells that way. Not saying it's bad, just a strong smell. This feed has none of that. Now to see if the guineas & chickens like it.
