Feather Hills Farm - Heritage Hatchery

I ordered 10 SS, 10 Black Langshan and 5 SLW from Tony last week. Great guy to talk to on the phone. He said the Langshan are a "female line", meaning he has had success at shows with the female birds. I will repost when I get the chicks.

He's had them awhile, just didn't advertise as a hatchery before. There are breeders of SQ sussex out there,.. they are not ANYTHING like the hatchery birds. Very nice birds,.. big, lay well.

Just got an e-mail back saying he won't be selling chicks this year due to an outbreak of CRD.

Bummer, I have not yet heard from him, but I will look elsewhere... Ahh, the digital age, I know before he has to tell me. Gotta love it.
