I have 3 pet chickens. 1 Rooster keeps pulling his feathers out. I read on this site that it could be mites, and I called the vet, he gave us some stuff that starts with a P (I can't remember... and I threw the bottle away), and we soaked him with it for a while...but he continued to pull them out. He was miserable, so we got sevin dust today and dusted him with it and put a little bit around the outside of his cage. He also had soars, so we sprayed some lanacane on it. Is this okay? Does anyone have any suggestions? And does anybody know how often to use sevin dust? I would appreciate anything, Thanks so much!

* I wouldn't use Lanacane either if it has benzocaine in it. Some chickens have died from benzocaine. Check the label. Just in general, aerosol anything isn't great for chickens, I don't think.
