Number 1 definitely looks like a cockerel. A few of the others have quite substantial combs as well. It is still too early to accurately sex them though. Please post updated pics at 6-8 weeks.

This is the way I'm leaning too.1 is definitely a cockerel
2 likely pullet
3 pullet
4 likely cockerel
5 leaning cockerel based on comb size, but could honestly go either way
It typically isn't unless the birds were actually bred to be wing/feather sexed.looks like wing sexing wasn't accurate on these little ones.

Just over 50% - great job!Yes, a few years back I set out to collect as much data on it as possible using every chick I hatch or buy, and since then I have used it to accurately predict the sex of 61 chicks... out of the total of 107 chicks tested. That's a whopping 57% accuracy.![]()
They are numbered the same as post #15. I thought #5 was just a barnyard mix but it has started getting some cheek tufts so wondering if maybe an EE or Olive Egger, but seems to have a different comb (which hasn't seemed to grow in the last 2 weeks) than the rest so I am not sure? #4 looks very similar in color and size to #1 and has a wide comb but isn't nearly as red just barely pink and no red in then wattle area on #4. #4 legs are slate and #1 are yellow. I am fairly confident #1 is a cockerel. Let me know what you all think, if needed I can do more pics in a couple weeks. @Overo Mare @SilverBirds @JedJackson @Tookie
1 and 4 are cocks, maybe 5. Everyone else looks like a pullet.
hoping not #5....lolAgreed. Not sure on 5 either.1 and 4 are cocks, maybe 5. Everyone else looks like a pullet.
