So my mom thought it would be cute to put my rooster in a small wire cage and when i finally noticed it this morning his feathers were all messed up. Mainly the main tail feathers, but also what got damaged were the sickles and the lesser sickles. I tried to make them look nice again with just running my fingers through the feathers but that didnt work. Any suggestions? I think the only way to save his feathers now is to cut them off and let them grow back in?

Quote:Yeah i was thinking that also i was going to give him a few weeks to do that see how it turns out. Because hopefully i will be showing him in january and i just wanted them to grow in nicely before then.
