And I haaate it when the run their horses through the chickens tooooo. If anyone tried to run their horse through my ducks I would kick their ASS.

I had once taken the then young Lord Montague Mason ( Aylesbury drake ) on a weekend away and while driving through one town we saw a lovely big lake so thought he might like a swim. We got some funny looks from people as we walked him down to the water- some people thought we were going to dump him there- others couldnt believe he was so tame. Anyway- he did go for a quick swim- until a rather large muscovy drake swam over and scared him. He came straight out and hid between my daughters legs. More strange looks as we wandered back to the car with huge big fat Monty waddling as fast as he could to keep up. That was a great day. It was good to speak to so many people about him- and the kids loved having a duck at the lake that they could actually pat for a change.

Watched "The Pacifier" again (last time was before my poultry addiction

) and every scene that showed the family pet duck I thought "Cool Rouen Drake", "Hmm...nettie would like this", and "No diaper? How can they possibly live in that house without slipping on duck s*** 24/7?"
