I candled for day 28 and didnt have time to write because most were internally pipped! 2 of them chirped while I (quickly ) candled them. And I just heard a few chirps. Hopefully we have a pip in the morning!

Lost track of the thread for a bit there! I'm at day 17 now with 19 eggs still going; 2 silkied Black Cochin bantam eggs from my own flock, 7 smooth Chocolate / Chocolate Cuckoo Cochin bantam eggs, and 10 silkied BBS Cochin Bantam eggs.

Yay! I put the little white cochin bantam egg on lockdown yesterday because I was afraid that there would be pips this morning and the turner is a pain to get out so the bator would be open for a while. I'm sitting here listening to chirps as we speak.
