Outer, or inner membrane? Mine are hatching fine with the humidity in the 50s.Egg 1 has hatched! Do you have a name suggestion?
Eggs 5, 6, and 7 are pipped. (7 is a new pip) View attachment 3137454
He is staying at the front of the bator so its hard to get a picture.
His membrane was dry and and I had to wet it. Another eggs membrane is dry and I wet it. My humidity is at 60% and my temp is 37.7 C. Why are they drying out?
I'm not sure. If it helps, when I wet it it goes back to normal. I have also hatched in the 50s and never had a problem. I'll try to get a picture before I wet it again.Outer, or inner membrane? Mine are hatching fine with the humidity in the 50s.
What's the humidity inside your house? This also plays an effect on the humidity in the incubator.I'm not sure. If it helps, when I wet it it goes back to normal. I have also hatched in the 50s and never had a problem. I'll try to get a picture before I wet it again.
I dont know. We dont have any gauge and I dont have an extra hydrometer. What's the humidity inside your house? This also plays an effect on the humidity in the incubator.
Would probably be a good idea to get one, & calibrate it for the next hatch.I dont know. We dont have any gauge and I dont have an extra hydrometer.
Ok. I have one in the bator but never thought to have one outside.Would probably be a good idea to get one, & calibrate it for the next hatch.
