FEB HATCH-ALONG THREAD ...COME JOIN US.... EVERYONE!

Ok, peeps!! Happy V-Day!!! I have another pipper today!!! My question is this-- My little trooper, Bebe, was all by herself through the night. I asked in another thread about putting one of my tiny Silkies with her in the brooder & they are snuggling just fine, but now that I have one pipping- not zipping- should I pop Bebe back into the bator to talk her sister/bro out of the shell? Should I just leave her in the brooder? Please respond fast :) I don't want the zip to start if putting her in would be a good idea.

Here's a pic of Bebe all fluffy last night! I couldn't help myself :)

Hmm... poor silkie baby. You just gave her a friend to snuggle with and now you want to take her away? Let them cuddle... their sister will be along soon.

She is SO CUTE. Still. :)

I'm setting on Saturday (16th) so my eggs won't hatch until March, but I'm setting bantam BRs, bantam polish, bantam cochins, and checking my mixed banty flock for fertility!

Ok, ok :) Hope is showing Bebe the way around the brooder & precisely how to make a mess!! LOL I will leave Silkie Hope in with Bebe until the next one is ready to come out :) Hope has 4 other friends in her own brooder :) She's just the smallest.

Here they are!!

Now for the bantams- I have NO clue what kind they are, they're all feather footed- Oh the bigger chicks in the pics are Sugar Peeps & the 2 sb d'uccle. I put them in w/ the little ones cause they were scared of the bigger lav chicks.

Will be stalking you late summer/fall for some eggs...LOL. They are beautiful!!!

No I think you should not open the bator @ all! She is very cute, maybe you can have her near the bator. I have my small ones in a container I made into a brooder sitting next to the bator. The ones in the shell will hear them just fine

OH VALENTINE BUNNIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want one!!! And look how fat they are!

Sooo when I got the bator ready for lock down w/ water & the foamy grip material, I took the 2 damaged eggs into a dark room & just sat candling till I found what I was looking for

Both of the boo boo eggs are alive still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could just scream

& already hearing little tapping noises in the quail egg & a few other of my EE eggs!

sooo my eggs are still cooking- the kits are snuggled up together sleeping & I'm feeding my face & catching up on here to keep busy.
