FEB HATCH-ALONG THREAD ...COME JOIN US.... EVERYONE!

I have five!! (One has been working since 8am...she seems lethargic. Number 4 tore her last bit of umbilical cord bc she wouldn't stay still and she bled a tiny spotty bit from it. I STILL have 19 (who piped yesterday at 7am) still pipped and unhatched :( I have three big wiggles!!
Awesome!!!! Anymore since you last posted? I still have one that pipped yesterday and hasn't hatched yet!

Problem chick day....My mixed mutts that started to hatch before i put them in lockdown all popped out and wild indians but # 5 of 6 eggs had been hatching well but then almost all zipped the other got up on the egg carton and sat on him a few times.
The others may be sticky but dont look dry ...anyway couldnt take them out then..After then got on his egg about 4 times and laid on him he didnt do much so i popped him out a little bit ago.
HE was laying feet up head down in the egg.one foot out.
He didnt seem alive but then moved a little . Dont know if he will recover or not He was breathing.
Hope i didnt mess up my good Lav Am eggs getting him out.
Day 20 for them.
The mutts were standing on them and rolling the Am eggs around like they were circus seals on balls

I know it's not supposed to be funny Rox, but the mental pic I'm getting from your description is just cracking me up! I do hope they will all be fine!

Omg Rox, between the mess, goop, and eggs and the need to lay ON the eggs by the others and pecking at pipping all day I am mentally wore out!! Good luck to the rest of your hatch!!!!

Question.....should I be concerned that like 10 eggs are still unpipped?? Day 21 started at noon today but been pipping since yesterday morning.

No need to be concerned at this point, considering today is their actual hatch day. I always leave them for a couple days beyond day 21. You can also check them 24 hours after all the pipped eggs are hatched out to look for viability. Candle, tap the top of the egg, and watch for movement. Good luck!

7 healthy babies for now, and crispy is still hanging in there. I think if it makes it, Crispy will be it's name. :p It's so needing a bath, but I don't dare even wipe it down until I see it open it's eyes more. So, not bad for a shipped hatched. Over 50%. Thank you for the cuties!
WOW THAT IS TERRIFIC!
