I saved #19. I turned the shower on hot, got bathroom steamy and grabbed her in the egg and went to explore. I chipped one piece of shell and I seen she was completely shrink wrapped. I used hot water on my finger tips to moisten her membrane til it was removable. Got her into a "half shell" and after another 30 mins she plopped out on her own. Weak at first but now traveling laps around the incubator! Thank you Hokan!!!

That might work. I'll give it a try tomorrow when I set them.

Yes try that! Good idea Rox! If the rag won't work, can you cut the cups from an egg carton out to set them in inside the bator- not sure there woul be enough room depending on egg size?

That's what I was going to do, but I found out they won't fit - so I'm going to try the rag.

Heard that Mini Advanced works pretty well temp and humidity

It's wonderful! But if using the auto turner, you can only do 7 eggs- without turner I BARELY fit 9 basque eggs. I just with it were the big brinsea- but then again, I've taught myself how to do stagered hatches this way too

That's what I was going to do, but I found out they won't fit - so I'm going to try the rag.

You know I'm thinking you should be able to do the rag, if not try paper towel rolled up = as long as it gets them to as up right position as you can-

well I now only use it for lockdown/hatch which you don't turn them during that time. the lg stryo bator I got for day 1-18 has a turner too. If you don't use the turner, which you won't be on this hatch- then you just hand turn 3 x daily- but NOT till after day 6 or 7. Then stop turning day 19 till hatch.

Oh YAY! I wonder if the drop in humidity shrink-wrapped her. Who knows, the important thing is that she's out!

Congrats you guys! Reading this has got me excited for mine to hatch in a week and a half.....the bad thing is I have to take a certification exam on the 11th so it's been hard to study!

That's wonderful! How many do you have hatched now! I've had 16 out for awhile now, and waiting on the other 6!!!!
