why is it this hatch ive been dealing with a humidity issue?! today is lockdown and you guys told me that the humidity at 25% was good/ok since today is lockdown i didnt want it to jump from 25% to 70's% so im bringing it up slowly but im thinking i might not be able to get it to stay steady in the 70"s i already have a sponge in there wet and its only in the 40's.

I am real new to this ....but when I put in warmer water (not hot) .... the humidity would raise faster otherwise at lukewarm water it would take A long while to raise ... But I would keep a close eye on temp but never had it raise much in the process .... Maybe that will help ya

Put some paper towels on top of the shavings for the first few days. I gives them better traction and helps them learn to use their legs.

I've done that with chicks before when they looked a little weak. She should be fine in the bator.

You may need to add another sponge or washcloth. Make sure to add warm to hot water not room temp or cold. You can also plug up one of the vent holes and see what that does.
