Is 76% too high for hatch day?
I would try to bring it down to around 70-72% Once the chicks start hatching it will go even higher and you don't want to drown the ones that haven't pipped yet.

First be patient. It is nerve wracking. It takes time to get it all right and while you are ...check the temp Often!!!.ThanksI just can't spend hundreds on an incubator (remember the husband who thinks this is bogus, lol) but I am so determined to do this right, but even on here the advise is so broad and different from one person to the next. I am thinking it's a gamble no matter what.

Dont open it now if you are past day 18!!I here chirps from the bator!!! I'm doing a hatch for the first time in the egg carton cause they are shipped eggs and hate it so far!!! I can't see movement or if the pip the opposite side of the egg or the wrong end....AHHHHH!!
I'm more nervous this time that something will go wrong because of being in an egg carton!!
Should I take then out of the carton?? Help!!
I dont know what I am more addicted to, this thread or checking my eggs!! Out waiting in the pick up line at my kids school and since I cant check my eggs I am on here!! I may need a 12 step program before this is over...or another incubator full of eggs lol!!
Ugh I know this but I'm stubborn and freaking out!! Lol I did open it to make sure there wasn't any pips I couldn't see and found the chirper...no external pip just internal and the one that's chirping has the worst air cell of them all!! It's a huge "u" and he started of chirping so loud and I couldn't hear anything for a while and the only way I heard it chirp when I opened was to delicately put it to my ear! Yes, I know I shouldn't have opened but I threw warm wash clothes and sponge in there to keep the humidity up. Do I assist at a certain point since its air cell is so huge??Dont open it now if you are past day 18!! They will be ok if they are going to hatch they will I am doing a little study on this and i have hatched about 1/2 and 1/2 so far. So it wont hurt them Opening it might hurt them worse and at this point you might disorientate them if you lay them down .GOOD LUCK!![]()
I looked @ your pics of her- and YES this is what I have. DH said they were the only 2 like this, so he got both. Now that I've seen how they look as adults I wish I had a few more- maybe I'll get lucky, they'll turn out 1 male 1 female! I'm so glad I saw yours so I know what I haveThank you and YAY!!I was like you except all I was told was she was a bantam...I searched and searched to figure out what she was. BTW her name is Lil Bit, she was the only bantam I had in with about 10 other normal sized chicks and she held her own with the big kids and still does. Congrats on your babies! I have more pics and better pics of her in my photos on here.![]()
