I need help I have a little giant and today is the first day of lockdown and I can't get the humidity above 54%

Add very wet dripping wash rags OPENED UP as much as possible under a vent where you can add water thru a straw//tube . and not open That should do it.
ITs the amount of SURFACE AREA of water not the DEPTH.GOOD LUCK!!

I have 5 barred rock that just may make to hatch day on the 15th. Makes me sad to think how many didn't make it. But I just may get a couple. Would like to join along. Hopefully adding good news along the way.

No this is a BR chick from the hens that I hatched out last July. I think that was the hatchalong that you and I first met in.

There is room but I would not be able to turn them

hardest part now is trying to re stabilize the bator since adding everything a few hours ago. The temps are diff from top to bottom of the egg turner and humidity diff in those two areas too.

You can either turn them by hand, or let them just sit in there for the few days until you get your other bator set up. I let mine with w/o turning the first 5 days anyway b/c all of mine have been shipped. It won't hurt them.

Oh my that is too funny! Well don't feel bad, I've been outbid on this lady's eggs every time she's put them on since early Dec. I'm sure she'll list more soon. And just think- you'll get a preview of the hatch on here

Yes that's the one on FB I'm on. And I found the thread on here, just posted some pics of my sfh on there if you want to take a look. I was reading some of the post of there, you're right- lots of good info TY again for telling me about it
