I have 13 in will be hatching the 27th first hatch of the year!!!! warm-up for the easter hatch-a-long lol.

Thank you! I sure hope so! The most I have gotten out of my 21 hens is 16 in one day, and that was last week! It seems that as the days are getting longer they are laying more! I have gave away alot and sold 5 dozen so far! I just added one more banty egg to my bator! Makes a total of 25 eggs. 2 Banty, 1 White leghorn, and the rest are brown, not sure which ones came from which hens.

And if you have nothing but time on your hands, youtube has some good candling videos, too. I'm on day 15 of my first hatch (broody hen on 3 marans and 4 showgirls). I candled on Tuesday and could see what I swear looked like little chicken feet kicking against the side of some of the eggs. Crazy cool.

Yes, It will be very interesting! All of mine will be mixed breed! I will buy pure breed in the future but gotta figure it out first lol!!!!! That was very nice of her! Maybe eventually I can get some pure breeds to hatch of my own. We were going to get a RIR rooster but my husband liked the way this one looked so we got him instead! Here is a pic of the daddy and some of my girls!

Why thank you! I was thinking Thursday next week but I don't think I can wait that long to at least do a few and see. Maybe Sunday!
