Question fellow hatchers:
So I have 15 fluff butts that are super healthy that is the great news, but there are 4 more that are pipped that are just kind of chillin. I followed the instructions on the "Should I assist the chick" info page and took some tweezers and gently started chipping small peices of the shell away. When I did this I noticed all the chicks still have a lot of veining in the membrane so I put them back in the incubator with a warm paper towel around them to keep them moist. Does this mean the yolk is still absorbing and they just need time? Or am I probably going to need to assist them one way or another since they aren't already out (It is the end of day 22 and all have been pipped for atleast 12 hours).
