I wanted to tell you - I ended up with 2 pure BR's from the ones that hatch - and I think one of the ones I tossed today was one as well. It's so nice to know that Sam does get a piece of the action - even if it's just a little piece. I laugh every time I look in the brooder - there are so many BOish chicks and so few BR's. You can totally tell who the dominant rooster is.

Yea looks like he sneaks some in once in a while - I am cracking up!!!

Well, since all three bators are on my side of the bed...I am not kidding...if I pass out I will still be close!!! Ha!!!!!
i have decided I am keeping the first one that hatches, naming it Si no matter if its a boy or girl LOL!! (They start hatching the day duck dynasty comes back on, my FAV show that I will be watching on end during the lockdown days!!

omg y'all will hate me by next Wednesday!!!! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

I'll be glued to BYC this whole weekend just for you! Except when I'm watching 'The Beards'

Thanks for catching this. I will go back and edit it now. I have too much on my mind, eggs in lockdown, more to go in tomorrow and a teenage daughter who is driving me crazy.

Good morning!!!

It is day SIXTEEN!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!! (yes, it gets worse with me from here....at least I warned you people!!)

I am taking the kids to a big museum we have here in Atlanta today for 2 reasons....1.) it's rainy and nasty and they are bored after being out of school all week, and 2.) so Pug doesnt tie me to a tree by the end of the day and I stay OUT of my incubator!!! (I swear at this time I feel like opening it up every 5 mins and saying "you guys good? need anything? warm enough for ya? wanna snack?? wanna just come on out?? COME ON OUT!!!")....yeah...I may need some time away today!!

I know already I will come home to like 100 of ya'll with new baby chicks so an early CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Hope you all have an awesome Friday!! Be sure to drink lots of wine and beer before coming on here for the next 5 days....you'll want it with me around! HA!!!

You have to excuse me, this is my first time....and by what I recall, I am pretty sure already is more exciting that some other "first times" i can remember in my life! HAHAHA!! Thank you Thank you, I'll be here all night!

OMG I have to keep you around just for the comic relief! And I am SO glad you are getting out of the house for a while- I just know if you could you'd crawl right into the bator w/ the eggs- Oh geez, don't want to give you any ideas- next thing we know you'll be building a people sized bator so you can do just that!

OK so now that I'm caught up on post from everyone-
I have a new CHICK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep the chick in the big bator was hatched when I got up this morning. I put it in a shoebox on a heating pad to dry- was afraid it would get all caught up in the turner in the bator. It's doing GREAT! and there are 7 more eggs in the small bator that are pipped! Only 3 left that have not pipped-
