I use a ZooMed hydrometer/thermometer. There were directions on how to calibrate the hydrometer (I think the link is in Sally's signature) and once I did that I was good. I still have issues getting it exactly where I want it but I am looking at a way to reduce the surface area in the first well. I am thinking a stack of penny's superglued together to the height of the well. That should do it.Chick in the burbs I think I remember reading somewhere you have the farm innovator pro series incubator? I was wondering what you use to make sure the temp and humidity are correct. Ive had mine running for a few day and had to fuss with it alot. Just today I got a digital temp/hydrometer from walmart brand is accurite. The temp on that seems accurate but humidity seems to be off still. Any tips?
Good luck!!!!I just went into lockdown tonight! 8 eggs so exciting 3 eggs are from my own flock, if they hatch they will be my first home grown chicks.
