Last night when the first chick hatched, our family was gathered around the incubator. It is a good thing the chicks don't care about privacy! It was an amazing experience to watch this chick hatch. I don't know if it is something one could ever tire of. My kids were in awe to watch this little wet chick work so hard to hatch. Thank you all for getting me hooked on this!

You will see that us BYCers can turn pretty nasty when we do not have cute little baby chick pictures to hold us over until we can get our hands on some.

No new pictures yet! It is really hard to get pics to come out.

I still have 2 chicks. I have 2 pips, both of which are BBS Orpingtons! The EE chicks are peeping them out, but they are not in a hurry! I have 4 eggs that aren't doing anything yet (1 EE and 3 BBS Orps) .
