February 2022 Hatch-A-Long

3 are out now, at least 1 more has pipped, im hearing lots of chirping & seeing movement in most of the others

So far 4 of the 9 have hatched. I think the movement I was seeing last night was caused by these chicks I don’t see any pips or anything on the other 5 eggs. I plan to candle them later when I take these out

Number six chick out of the late-comer green eggs popped out last night after I went to bed. The #7 egg is pipped and zipping right now. Definitely the slowest chicks I've hatched thus far, not that I'm super experienced or anything, lol. They are active, healthy, and adorable.

why is there always one egg which is not following the law of hatching... you are supposed to pip tomorrow or the day after tomorrow

Well my duck eggs air cells grew substantially since yesterday, so they are looking better and I’m much less worried. I marked them yesterday, day 21. Here they are day 22!!

Seven is out and drying off Then I'll be cleaning the incubator out and reloading for the next hatch.

I’ll be in the March Hal with quail eggs & Easter HAL with Easter Eggers

#5 is out & 1-4 were moved to the brooder with my 2 chicks from my last hatch. I’ve got 1 pip & 1 not doing anything. It’s definitely going better than my last hatch
