I candled mine this afternoon for a check in. It looks like I have quite a few saddled that I didn’t see before. Don’t appear to be detached at this point. Would I be seeing the air cell that early though? It’s only day 2. Can try pics later.

Looking fine, so far. You'll have to ask the eggsperts for their eggspertise in making sure your hatch goes eggcellently.

What does saddled mean?

From what I’ve read it happens in shipped eggs. The air cell at the bottom of the egg gets damaged and changes shape to form a saddle shape versus the normal circular air cell. Can cause issues when they hatch. I’m only going by what I’ve read though I have no experience with it. If they are detached that’s even more of a problem (if you see the air cell moving around).

Yes they are shipped. I anticipated having this happen so looked into it before hand.
