I think I'm done.. there are still 4 eggs in the bator .. today is day 22 .. No signs of life, but I'll leave them another day or so..

I think I have one chick that isn't going to make it .. still in the bator .. and one that was stuck in the egg that I helped out that couldn't walk yesterday, but seems to be getting it's legs under it today ..

23 of 29 total eggs
23 of 27 that made it to lockdown ..

They came! My 2 dozen beautiful blue Americauna eggs! She even sent 2 spares. Wonderfully packaged, no apparent shipping injuries. They have been tenderly placed - large end up - into the turner to rest until tomorrow afternoon, when I will turn on the H-Bator and fan. I will start the turner Saturday afternoon.

Guess I'll be running 2 baters for the HATCH on the 25th Gotta go find some more eggs!!! Can't have just 2 in a 42 egg H-Bator!

Candled last night at day 7. Of 21 eggs 9 are confirmed good, another 4 or so are really hard to tell, will be revisiting again on day 10/11. I had 14 deleware eggs and 7 Splash Jersey Giants. The kicker is 4-5 of the JG eggs are developing and 5 or so Del. eggs. 5 out of 14! So for now I've got 9-12 eggs going out of 21.

I left all but one egg in the incubator just to be sure that I didn't make a mistake as some are quite speckled and varying shades of brown. I have little hope for at least 6 of them. I did crack open one Del egg I was sure wasn't developing to check fertility... nada it was infertile. I'll check the others as I discard in a few days. That's just disappointing. Both batches are from ebay.

This is my second try for Delaware chicks, last time out of 5 eggs I had 1 hatch and it died, 3 others quit right at the end, just didn't pip! Anyway so long as basically all of the fertile ones pull through I'll be okay. I am going to check fertility as I discard eggs and let the seller know the score.

most of the 12 GCMs are developing left them all in for now.
all of the EEs are developing
most of the 6 Sunshine (RIR) eggs are developing left them all for now.

Hatch is set for 2/19-2/20!
