How much cayenne to how much feed? Also, do you mean cayenne pepper? or is there a product called cayanne?

Sorry, Cayenne pepper, I buy it in bulk at the local grocery store (Kruger/Fred Meyer) I use a teaspoon per pound of feed. It's supposed to help with worms too, multitasking at it's finest. Careful not to breath the dust, it'll make ya cry

The chooks don't seem to even notice it's in there.

the more I put in there the better my hatch rate will look when I see all the fuzzy buts. Then again with this being the first 3 batches in this bator I may get such a good hatch rate that I may have to send some to you...lol I think the chicks that hatched out of the eggs I gave you are so cute... and I am hoping for the same thing....You know me I want to keep every single one of them, but I have standing orders for babies....

Yes, the chicks I got from you are growing like weeds and demand costand attention! The 1st chick, Blondie loves to snuggle!

Yes, I hate ordering chicks threw the mail. Plus I enjoy hatching out my own stock..also helps my addiction!

Sad that I missed this thread all along. But, I put in ~20 Ancona Duck eggs and tomorrow will be day 21! Sunday the first batch will go into lockdown in my snake's 'bator (yes, I raise snakes too). These will be for sale (or trade) - thought I'd let ya know, so that if you fall in love you can always bring them home

that is why I told some people I would sell my 3-4 month old hens that are hatchery stock...I got them just to have extra eggs....

The only color of duck i've seen like that is muscovies. Is that a common color for that breed, or is that a project color? How big are they compared to muscovies? I like the coloring on them, but those warts......

Very Pretty
