Congrats to everyone w/ new eggs and chicks!

Mine are due the 13 - only 10 more days!

The Brinsea went up to 113!!

It took a minute to get it back down to 99.8!!! Ugh!!!

I sure hope thy're A-Okay!

I HAVE THREE PIPS!!!!! I put all 28 eggs in lockdown yesterday morning and right now three of them are pipping......oh my goodness- I am so excited, nervous, anxious!!! It is all I can do to keep my hands out of there. I am grateful for the windows in my bator.......the one is just busting right out throuh the air cell end - is that ok? It doesn't look like he is going to zip - just push his way out....is that ok? I am going to be a wreck before this is over!!!!!!

Here's our February Hatch-Along, Part Deux.

We have 10 days left until our group hatches, but a friend of ours today gifted us with 3 more sebright eggs and 2 bantam EE eggs! We have a mini bator that holds 3 full-size chicken eggs or up to 6 quail or bantam eggs. We're going to set these 5 bantam eggs and see how they do.

So we will now have 2 hatch dates for February: The 13th and the 25th. Yay!

I got sucked into loving bantam chickens. I originally just wanted a couple of hens for eggs... Hahahaha yeah right.

One batch of 4 Delawares went into the hatcher just now as Day 18 is starting.

Next batch of 2 Dels and one Del/EE is developing well and is on Day 14.

Last batch of 16 is now down to 8 since none of the eggs out of the pen with my Blue Orp rooster was fertile. The Delawares and the Del x Lt. Brahma are fine.

I just put my eggs into lockdown. Humidity is 71% and I think I hear there beaks against the shell
