I can't believe it. Yesterday, Day 7, while putting eggs back into the incubator after candling I dropped the whole tray of eggs about 2' onto the eggs I'd already placed in. One was cracked and leaking. Unsalvageable. Two had large crack that I repaired with wax. And most had damage to the air cells and are now displaced. A lucky few appear no worse for the wear.

I've got the cracked eggs and 3 with the worst air cells upright in a craton.

I'm sure most will be ok but I feel incredibly guilty about jeopardizing so many. I've got 2 more week until I know for sure what damage was done.

I picked up my eggs I got from a chicken friend (carton with a blue egg and a green eggs left rooster was LO,) and one carton from a health food store, right.

I had asked for only brown, but that is okay...

so i have to chicks in the incubator and three pips can i take the two chicks out when they are fluffy or will it hurt the other eggs
