That's an adorable chick! Looks like a serama I hatched once. Yes, yes, what breed is Friday?

I finally got my 18 BCM eggs set about an hour ago. Added the only 4 lav orp eggs I had.

I’m not exactly sure, though I have some what of an idea. We think the mother may be a Barred rock, and the father is a Salmon Faverolle and Americauna mix. And that’s so awesome that you will be hatching some chickies too!

I have 5 more eggs left, though non have pipped yet. I guess Friday was just the early bird.

I had one hatch on day 19 one time...I named her Early Girl...she is the mother of the four Olive eggs I'm hatching now!

For the past to hatches I’ve done one chick has hatched on the 19 day and I’m gonna have two chicks a day late

it was holding at 98. 102 should be for still air, I am going to tweak it. maybe have another incubator ready, I want these babies. Luckly I am not at one full day yet and can play with temps. I think I will do water bottles to keep heat steady.

I have 2 of the same thermometers in incubator, but one was always running 2 degrees or so cooler than the other, even if I moved it around. Grr. I took it out of the incubator and replaced it with another one. hopefully they will read the same, I marked it and am going to use it as a room temp thermometer. Also my room was not 70. I turned on the heater to bring up room temp.
