Feed and water inside small coop?

Chickens should have access to food and water at all times.

No, you do not need to put food or water in their coop. They don't eat or drink when they are asleep! It also can attract predators that can attack your chickens at their most vulnerable, sleeping! Things like snakes! I'd leave the food in the run for them! You don't say where you are located, where are you?
