Feed for new baby chicks

Should I feed my baby chicks regular chick starter or chick starter that is medicated

IMO that is a personal decision. I did feed mine medicated feed just to be safe.

I guess my real question was can I feed baby chicks medicated chick starter without it hurting them and should I feed it for a little while then back to regular feed sorry for the confusion

I fed mine medicated up til time to change to Layer feed. It won't cause harm to change back and forth…I just wanted less worry about survival. The medicated feed does not harm them.

I fed medicated until I could get my hands on some corid. My tractor supply was out..so as a precaution I used medicated once TCS got corid in i purchased a bag of it and switched over to organic...I just felt like not risking them since corid was at no local TSC near me so i didnt chance it
