I have 6 BBW-16 weeks old and the Toms weigh 28 lbs and the hens 22 lbs. I plan on butchering them in two weeks-don't want that to get too big. Any ideas on what to feed them their last two weeks to make them more tasty and juicy? I have 100 lbs of apple mash frozen in bags and will give them some each day. More corn?
Never raised turkeys before-they eat a lot-even with free ranging. Not sure it has been a cost efficient project.

Yes fresh greens are the way to go in this case, I also finish with some good cracked corn mainly because the soft week or two old fat is good for the taste of the bird when roasting, fat = flavor in the kitchen LOL.
