Feed going bad?

I live in South Louisiana, so we live in pretty similar climates. I keep my 3 hens' feed and my 2 chicks' feed outside in a metal bucket under my carport with a 10lb weight ziptied to the lid's handle to keep out raccoons. I have never had food expire. I had a TSC plastic bucket for the feed but squirrels chewed thhrough the top and ruined 20lbs of feed.

They won’t let me he’s telling me it’s a waste of money, but my mom said on Saturday she’ll take me to tsc to get some feed and she’s gonna use the rotten one as compost
Glad your mom is more understanding than your dad. In the meantime, though it's not ideal, chickens can pretty much eat anything that isn't too fatty or salty or spoiled/moldy.

Okay if I end up able to get one I’ll look into it.
That won't provide a balanced enough diet. I'll help you search for alternatives.
Okay thank you, they keep getting out of their area so I let them run around the yard bc they don’t really leave our area and I noticed they don’t eat much so today I have them oatmeal 3 boiled eggs with shells for calcium but they didn’t eat all of it so I’m gonna lower it on the eggs

Okay, so you could do oatmeal with some black oil sunflower seeds (BOSS), eggs and shells, and kitchen scraps. Make sure not to feed uncooked potato peels, avocados, coffee grounds, chocolate, or moldy/spoiled food. Foraging is a great idea! That would cut down massively on feed consumption. My girls forage all day and 3 gallons of layer feed lasts them a LONG time.

The things that I have that they’ll eat is

oatmeal
Yogurt
Eggs
Watermelon
Rice
And chicken
Nuts
And other stuff thsts considered treats
