Back in February, when this thread started, corn prices were down in the expectation was of a bumper corn crop. Those hopes were dashed in this summer's drought.
An update. That same bag of layer mash, 17% Hubbard is now $20.75 a hundred. Still, a quality feed at a good price, but that's a $3 increase, per hundred, over the past 6 months, most of the increases have been since July, of course. Corn price is over $8 a bushel so, if you want to keep track, here's link to that commodity, as it changes each day on the commodity exchange bid price.
