I would recommend black. I don't like mauve at all......

Thank you Jean. I hatched out 2 of the 3 black/blue and 5 or 6 of the chocolate AM and 5 of the orps. I'm thrilled!

it is 5 chocolate AM and only 4 orps. Still good, just miscounted.

All the chicks from pips&peeps. 4 of these are black split to chocolate orps that are not from her, but the rest are.

Yay look at those babies. My hen smashed one of hers. I have another 6 under a broody hen and had 8 in bator, one exploded lucky for me it wasn't a big mess, because I didn't get it until day after it happened, I heard it in the middle of the night but went back to sleep. 4 looking really good 2 questionable 1 clear.
