Feedback on run....to roof or not?

We are doing a 10x16 run and we are roofing half of it. Shade, snow, rain, just in general we want them to have the option to be protected from the weather some and still be able to go outside.
Will you slope the whole roof then just add panels to a part of it?

We will probably slope all of the framing. The side that isnt roofed will still have chicken wire ceiling and I think it will be easier if all of it is level vs trying to cover gaps.

Do you have a pic handy I’d love to see
I think the snow comes off just because the roofing is so slick and shiny. It is not as slanted as the house roof. The run roof has repurposed wood flooring underneath it. The sheds have metal roofs but not shiny and snow does not come off them very easily. The coop itself has asphalt shingles. The house has the red metal roof.

I am still adding roof rafters but back wall are about 26” apart and thinking I should add another 2x4 in between so wall doesn’t crush.
It’s 7x12

Std stud and rafter spacing is 16".
Both these match up with other standard lumber, like plywood.
Why did you choose 26"?
@DobieLover could advise better than I at this point.
