Feeder ideas for lots of birds

So I have a good amount of birds (not as many as I used to) but I don’t like their food on the ground. I want to make a feeder but I’m not sure what kind to make since I want to make sure everyone gets some food. I also don’t want to just pour a 50 lbs bag in there and let ‘em have at it. They have the option of free range and if there’s grain they’ll be out in a couple days and no one will free range lol

Also I’ve thought about a long piece of pvc with holes in it but I am worried just pouring the food in the tall pvc piece don’t get all the grain towards the cemetery if it’s like 5’ or more

You can make a garbage can feeder.
What are you feeding? Some feed flow better than others.
