Hello! I currently have two baby Saxony ducklings, one that is 5 days old, and one that is a week old. Currently, I am feeding them Purina flock raiser crumbles with nutritional yeast on top. I wet it with water until it is almost a paste and have been feeding them that. When can I start feeding them the mash without any water? How long do I supplement them with nutritional yeast, and when can I switch them to pellets? I know they are still young but it would be really helpful to know when to start transitioning and things like that. My current six-year old ducks are eating Nutrena All-Flock Pellets. Thank you!

From my personal opinion they eat the pellets when they are two weeks old. Be sure they have always water to drink during eating. If they don’t manage they will soak it themselves. Just try (supervised) and see how it goes...
