Feeding bugs

I think the earthworms might be dead but that's okay, more ordered them for the garden anyway, and it's probably the post office not the company, but all the rest of the bugs look fantastic!

Somewhat accidentally have a regular mealworm breeding operation in the house now

the wax worms and small mealworms are in the fridge.

These are the superworms, rainbow red giants/rainbow giants/red giants?, and the large mealworms.

Except I just remembered, the superworms and red giants (same thing i think, just dyed red with vegetable dye to make more appealing to fish), can't pupate/breed right? They can only breed if they turn into the beatles? Which the superworms can't because they've put all of their energy into growing bigger instead of turning into the beatle?

So maybe for them it's more storage instead of breeding operation aha

But the mealworms will breed right?

I don't know if I want them too though, there's already 1,000 in there and 1,000 small ones in the fridge

@KDOGG331 Please forgive my silly sense of humor, OK?

When you said they were going to turn into "beatles" I was imagining: OK, this one is Ringo, this one is John Lennon, this one is...

Superworms can't be bred, just feed them to the chickens.

Yes the mealworms will breed, although technically speaking they go thru a pupae stage before turning into beetles which then breed and lay eggs that turn into mealworms.

My chickens love bugs and roaches. Anytime I kill one in my home, it's becomes their treat.
