Feeding calcium gluconate to ducks

How are your girls this morning
Did you get a dose into them
No changes so far with laying eggs but my duck doesn’t seem as sad as she was yesterday! I gave them one dose of calcium gluconate (1ml) yesterday and today they’ll get another dose. They have been eating their oyster shells & they both didn’t lay any eggs over night. I did notice a few times a while ago that they sometimes would eat their own eggs so I’m not sure if maybe they did lay an egg after the calcium gluconate & just happen to eat the egg? I’m keeping an eye out for anymore changes or eggs.

They may have done this to get the calcium
You can use their shells as well as oyster shells

If you have a heavy bowl that won't tip over you can use it to hold the oyster shell.
My girls are eating layer and still eat oyster shells like candy so it is important they have it.
My duck done eat oyster shells and one of my babies died in August she was laying soft shell eggs. I have another one laying soft shell. I have one pekin 3 khaki Campbell and one boy Pekin I don't give my boy any calcium. So what do? I did what treats do you put the pill in after you Crush them? The duck that die was a Khaki Campbell.
