Feeding Wild Birds

You get the best photos and videos of your wild birds!!! I have a hard time with it. If I go outside they leave. The feeders are not on the deck side of the house, so I'm never sitting out there to catch them. I'm going to have to try to photograph from inside the house. But, when I tried that a couple days ago, I think they saw me through the window and left anyway. My wild birds are quite shy. 😁

You could try a camera feeder, they’re really fun. Admittedly, still nothing like watching the feeder, I know :)

I talk to them. They watch me fill the feeders so they learn quickly who brings the goodies.

This particular woodpecker was at the feeder when I went out to fill it. It moved 5' away and watched as I added the suet cake. As soon as I moved away, it went right back to eating.
