Around here cats kill multiple birds daily. Windows almost never.Depends
In cities high rises kill thousands of migrating birds a night. Feral cats get some
In the rural areas not as many window strike birds compared to cats.

I found the decals have to be on the outside of my windowsI think here in the forest, when the sun is on the windows, they reflect the forest and the poor birds think they are flying through more trees. It is so disturbing to me. I don't really want little decals all over my windows, but I did buy them. Just haven't put them on because they are not so "invisible" as they advertise. We have birds fly into them 2 or 3 times a year. They don't usually die, but they have.
Yes, that's what the package says. But are yours invisible? I really don't want to look at flowers or birds on my windows. I want to the see the beauty outside.I found the decals have to be on the outside of my windows
They were black raptors. They only lasted a few years before they quit clingingYes, that's what the package says. But are yours invisible? I really don't want to look at flowers or birds on my windows. I want to the see the beauty outside.
I'm not sure I would put a bird feeder in the range of the chickens with the yearly threat of AI. I have our bird feeders 2-300 yards away from any chicken territory.Wow there’s a lot of pages on this thread. We have a bird feeder in range of chickens when we occasionally let them free range. I’m trying to figure out what wild bird feed is safe if the chickens go and eat some off the ground. Is there any specifics to avoid? I feel like I saw something about black sunflower seeds.
Thanks!
What does AI stand for in this instance? (For those who might not know)I'm not sure I would put a bird feeder in the range of the chickens with the yearly threat of AI. I have our bird feeders 2-300 yards away from any chicken territory.
BOSS would be a good choice for both the wild birds and the chickens.
Unfortunately we don’t have 2-300 yards of property. We don’t free range often. Most of the time they’re confined to the run, maybe once or twice a week if that.I'm not sure I would put a bird feeder in the range of the chickens with the yearly threat of AI.
